This tour begins when our jeep driver picks you up from your hotel. We use well-maintained jeeps to ensure you get a higher viewpoint and enjoy the cool evening breeze as we drive through the city streets.
Our first priority is to take you above the city and up towards Alanya Castle. Here, we'll take a short stop to watch the city as the sun begins rising over the ancient town. It’s a photographer’s dream, and you’ll have plenty of time to take some memorable snaps. We'll explore the castle, which was built on the remnants of Byzantine and Roman forts and dates back to the 13th century. Protected by the Mediterranean on three sides, it is easy to see why the castle was built here.
After the castle, we’ll drive down to Cleopatra Beach, famous for its golden sands. It is believed that Cleopatra enjoyed bathing at this beach during her honeymoon, and you will understand why it is called Cleopatra Beach. The beach has a blue flag.
Our tour continues to the famous Damlataş Cave, known for its unique stalactites and stalagmites. The cave was discovered during mining operations at a quarry used for the construction of the harbor in 1948. It is known as the "asthma-cure cave" because people with asthma visit the cave to breathe its air. Visitors stay for 21 days, four hours a day, for their asthma treatment. The cave is filled with stalactites and stalagmites that have formed over 15,000 years and has an area of 180-200m². The air in the cave contains a relatively high percentage of carbon dioxide.
No Alanya city tour would be complete without a cable car ride above the city. You will enjoy a bird's-eye view of the castle and Cleopatra Beach. You will breathe deeply and ask yourself, "Why don’t I live in this city?" The cable car has a line length of 900 meters and 17 cabins, carrying thousands of people daily.
This excursion will end with a wonderful experience and many photos. Join us and let us introduce you to Alanya’s sights. Finally, we will look at Alanya from one of its most beautiful hills, enjoying a bird's-eye view of the city from the "I Love You Alanya" place.
